Acting together – standing by the region – working for the village and the future

This is the spirit in which the Obstalden cooperative organizes its activities. The use and maintenance of alpine pastures and forests is also in our hands. By purchasing the multi-purpose building “Sternen,” the cooperative hopes to preserve the village meeting place, the village store with its integrated post office, and the restaurant with its hotel rooms.

After the search for tenants for the “Sternen” became increasingly difficult in recent years and it remained closed since the beginning of 2025, the cooperative decided to take action. At an information evening, volunteers from the village were sought to bring at least the hotel part back to life.

In many hours of work, the Sternen team came up with a concept, repaired the rooms, and coordinated the cleaning and operation. You have booked the result! - Thank you very much in advance!

We are not professionals and are learning every day: if something is not right, please let us know. We will take care of it as soon as possible.
